The congress will be held in the
Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC)
, a modern, purpose-built conference centre with state of the art facilities.
The EICC is a short walk from Princes Street, and the Royal Mile, and is within easy walking distance of the conference hotels.
Each day there will be a series of update lectures and keynote lectures in addition to scientific sessions open for proffered papers. Given the ever increasing scope using multiple modalities for the investigation of the sick child, we have invited an internationally renowned faculty of speakers to examine the scientific evidence to justify “Why, When and How” we should evaluate a wide range of clinical problems including sessions on non-accidental injury and trauma, imaging of the skull vault and orbit and brain, with further sessions considering a variety of gastrointestinal, genitourinary and fetal imaging topics. In addition there will be update lectures on cardiothoracic and brain CT and MRI imaging.
Scientific poster and technical exhibitions will run throughout the congress.
